Questions
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Open your profile and choose "Manage billing" to cancel or change your plan in the Stripe customer portal. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
Contractor Pro and Elite include a 30-day free trial, once per account. You enter a card at checkout but are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then at no cost.
What counts as a photo diagnosis?
Any AI request that includes at least one photo. Text questions are always unlimited. The free plan includes 3 photo diagnoses per calendar month (Eastern time); the count resets on the 1st.
Do homeowners pay to request help?
Never. Asking the AI, requesting quotes and sending a request to more contractors are free for homeowners. Contractors pay for leads.
How does pay-per-lead work for contractors?
A lead is a quote request sent to your listing. On the free Basic listing you see a short preview of every lead (job type, city and urgency, no contact details). Unlock any lead for a one-time $15 payment through Stripe Checkout, and the homeowner's name, phone, email, notes and AI summary appear on your profile as soon as Stripe confirms the payment. You are never charged twice for the same lead: if a second payment ever goes through for a lead you already unlocked, it is refunded automatically.
What do Pro and Elite include?
Pro ($49/month) includes 15 leads a month with the AI summary and photos. After 15, unlock extra leads for $15 each or upgrade to Elite. Elite ($149/month) includes unlimited leads. Upgrading during the month unlocks waiting leads right away (up to your new plan's limit). Monthly counts reset on the 1st (Eastern time).
Who processes payments?
Stripe. Palmwire never sees or stores your card number. Prices are in US dollars. Plans are billed monthly; lead unlocks are one-time payments.
Does Palmwire take payment for electrical work?
No. Plans are for Palmwire features only. Contractors quote and bill customers directly.
Does my plan work in the Palmwire app?
Yes. Your plan is attached to your Palmwire account, so it applies on the web and in the iPhone app.
